Some Forest of Dean History.

A Goodly Heritage.

Our Iron Age family by now ploughed, harvested, and ground wheat and barley, using a stone quern. Garments were fastened with bronze and iron clasps and brooches. Pigs were kept, and the wolf hound was being domesticated and used for hunting.
